If you have noticed that your garage door isn't smoothly moving up and down, and you have never really had to do any work to the unit, there are some things that you'll want to take into consideration. Be Preventative
Be preventative to protect your components. Lubricate the components when you see that they are rusting or sound like they are grinding, and make sure that you try to eliminate moisture from being a problem in the garage. Inspect the Rollers
If there are one or two rollers that have to be replaced, then have them all fixed by a garage door repair company. You are already paying for a service call to have the professionals out at your property, and if there are some that are bad, chances are that the others are going to be bad soon, too. Have the rollers inspected and replaced, if needed, to help your door run smoothly.
